Each scholarship award will be a minimum of $375 or $500 for first time attendees with final amounts to be determined based on availability. Scholarships may be used for registration, travel, lodging, and meals during the conference and is payable on a reimbursable basis to the individual’s sending organization. A subcommittee of VTGFOA Board members will review applications. Scholarship recipients will be notified of the amount awarded by August 22nd. Priority is given to first-time attendees. Scholarship recipients must attend the NESGFOA conference and submit applicable receipts for their sending organization to receive reimbursement. The VTGFOA Board will select an alternate from those that attend, if necessary. You must be a member of the Vermont Government Finance Officers Association to receive a scholarship.

Deadline: All requests must be received by Wednesday August 13, 2025
