The Town of Stowe is seeking someone to fill the role of Senior Accountant. This exciting opportunity is available due to an internal advancement and offers the chance to play a key role in supporting the Town’s financial operations and long-term success. The Senior Accountant will support transparency, accountability, and sound financial practices through responsibilities including payroll and accounts payable, journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing, budget development and monitoring, and audit preparation and support. Vermont ISP Operating Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to support the financial sustainability and continued growth of its community-driven broadband network serving 31 towns in East Central Vermont through the ECFiber Network. Reporting to the C-suite/Board of Directors and supervising two finance/accounting staff, the CFO will provide strategic financial leadership while remaining actively involved in budgeting, forecasting, accounting oversight, financial reporting, audits, compliance, cash flow, debt, capital investment, grants, and financial systems and process improvement.
